The default setting for PPC billing on amazon is $500. That means when you spend $500 Amazon will generate an invoice for you. If you are a big PPC spender this can be a bookkeeping pain in the butt having all those invoices. We are also finding CRA is doing more advertising audits so its even more important to make sure you have all of your invoices in order.
Why Increase it?
We want to increase the amount to get fewer bills, but that means it will also take longer before Amazon bills us and requires you to make a payment. The longer this is, the longer your cash flow can spread out.
How To Do It
Step 1: Log into Amazon PPC Campaign Manager: choose the question mark, and then select support center.
Step 2: Next select Billing and Payments then scroll to the bottom and click contact us. From the drop down choose: “Payments and Invoicing” and then “Payment frequency and credit ladder”. Select Live Chat.
Step 3: Ask for an increase. Write this exactly to their support agent “Hello, Please increase my payment ladder to $5,000”. Or $10k if you want.
That’s it! Hopefully they will accept your request. If not ask for it to be escalated.
