Rob Cosman, CPA, CA

Rob Cosman is a Chartered Professional Accountant and the co-founder of Jones & Cosman, a Canadian CPA firm built for Amazon and e-commerce sellers. He started the firm in 2012 with his wife and partner Marsha Cosman because general accountants kept getting Amazon wrong, and sellers deserved better. Both Rob and Marsha are former KPMG accountants.
Why sellers listen to him
Rob is not an accountant who read about e-commerce. He sells online himself, so the advice on this site comes from inside Seller Central, not from a textbook. He knows what an FBA settlement report actually looks like, why Amazon withholds GST from some sellers, and what a broker means when they ask for a clean TTM.
Jones & Cosman is one of a small number of Canadian CPA firms with Official Amazon Service Provider status, vetted by Amazon as qualified experts for its seller community.
What Rob writes about
Rob writes the articles on this blog. The topics are the ones his clients actually ask about: GST/HST for marketplace sellers, non-resident registration, CBSA and import compliance, provincial sales taxes, and paying yourself and your family from an owner-managed corporation.
